Paul Cellarius
Hi – I’m Paul. I work with children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of themselves, and who want a steadier way forward. In therapy with me, you’ll find warmth, gentle humour, and a calm, grounded space where you don’t have to have things figured out to begin.
My training is rooted in depth psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute, where the focus is on understanding the deeper emotional patterns that shape our lives. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) – approaches that help people relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, clarify what truly matters to them, and take meaningful steps forward. I’ve worked extensively with adults navigating anxiety, emotional pain, and life transitions, as well as with children and adolescents in school and community settings. I’m known for being steady, thoughtful, and attuned – especially when emotions run high. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, combining practical tools with deeper reflection, always guided by your values and strengths.
Starting counselling can feel like a big step. If you’re looking for a therapist who is warm, present, and genuinely invested in your growth, I’d be glad to walk alongside you as you find your way.
